Thank you for your response, tho a canned soundbite that has lost it's luster, I can fully understand the mindset of repeating something in the hopes that someone will finally believe it.

Deficit reduction is happening & would happen faster if...if ...there weren't 'amendments' to real legislative bills. It means that Representatives & Senators need to restrain themselves....from getting the old earmarks for their districts.  It means consolidating military bases re BRAC and generally conducting themselves like adults that understand the finances of a world power. Pay attention here: being known as the Prince of Pork ..isn't a Good Thing. Being known as the worst statesman in Kentucky's history ...isn't a Good Thing.

It is the Shame of Kentucky that the word obstruction has been attached to almost All of their Congressional people. Do you all not know what Team Work means? Have you never participated in the concept? You might look it up & try to at least Work at being part of a team known as the United States Congress. Instead of the..''I want to get reelected to my elitist JOB that has Great perks & benefits'' mindset.

If you think or any Congressional person that the people on the lower levels ie in your state haven't noticed that fees & taxes on utilities are increasing in little increments, do know that they are aware. Because the Federal money that goes to states is being choked off. Highways, bridges, job training, education and medical care to name a few...are being choked off nation wide. It is a strangulation that is going to harm the US for a very long time.

You know paying for a local 'public' golf course by most people that don't play golf is one thing, asking the majority to pay for the benefits of being an American for the few...is going too far.
