Ayakulik River Adventures located at the mouth of the Ayakulik River, on Kodiak Island, Alaska provides opportunity to view Kodiak Brown Bears as they interact with one another & spawning Pacific salmon. This film was shot in July & August 2010 and features a sow with 4 new cubs who adopts a 2 year old orphaned juvenile bear. Behavior like this had never been recorded. Sequences include the new cubs and the juvenile nursing and catching salmon.
