BRENTWOOD, Tenn.- Nearly 7,000 people in Brentwood were without power late Friday afternoon, as temperatures climbed.

According to the Nashville Electric Service, the power outage was mainly in the Old Smyrna Road area. Officials were not sure of the cause of the outage, but crews were sent out to the area to make repairs.
