There will be those that think this is too early to consider, but with all due respect, political parties are already considering their candidates for the Presidential, Senate and Representative races. They are also considering the people who will be chosen to cast electoral votes, if not already chosen. This is what I want for my 2010 Christmas present. A Majority of eligible Americans voting in the 2012 election.

There have also been several comments about President Obama losing the political election in 2012, so I did a little research and found the following information for Republican, Independent and Libertarian candidates. If President Barack Obama decides to run for a second term, he will be the Democratic Candidate. Of course, if he decides to withdraw form the political arena, then the Democratic Party will need to have some candidates real fast.

The next item in the elections of 2012, I opine, is most important of all: the 33 Senate Elections for the 113th Congress. Congressional Senate Races will be the most vital to this nation in many an election year. We can only hope that the people in the States that are having Senate Elections will be much more interested and informed than in previous elections. We can only hope that the party caucuses will chose more viable candidates for their respective parties. This 2012 Congressional Senate will lead the way for 6 years, if not more. Our nation cannot sustain the animosity and discord that has been occurring over the past several years.

It has become a twofold situation:

1) Those Senators and House of Representatives that get elected in 2012 will need to stop considering their state and their constituents first, they will need to consider the welfare of this nation.

2) People that vote for their Senator's need to remember that they are voting for a person to go to the United States Senate to take care of America, not just take care of their home state (via earmarks) or the way they think our nation should be. A US Senator must think about all the people in America and the consequences or benefits to America.... of their actions in the Senate.

The third most important item on the Election of 2012 is the elections for the House of Representatives for the 113th Congress: Again, people need to be thinking and be informed about their Representatives. Again, they need to think that this person they elect will be in the United States House of Representatives. They are not electing these people to take care of only their district, they are electing a person to take care of the Business and Welfare of America.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: The United States presidential election of 2012 is the next United States presidential election, to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.

It will be the 57th quadrennial presidential election in which presidential electors, who will actually elect the President and the Vice President of the United States on December 17, 2012, will be chosen. Democratic President Barack Obama will be eligible to run for a second and final term during this election. My insert: "NOTE: This part of the Electoral Process Must Not be Ignored by the voting public."

The 2012 presidential election will coincide with the United States Senate elections where 33 races will be occurring as well as the United States House of Representatives elections to elect the members for the 113th Congress. The election will also encompass eleven gubernatorial races as well as many state legislature races."

The following is a potential list of possible Republican, Libertaria and Independent Candidates For Presidential Election:

1) Haley Barbour, Current Governor of Mississippi, Republican

2) Mike Bloomberg, Current Mayor of New York City Independent

3) John Bolton, Former Ambassador to the UN, Republican

4) Scott Brown, Current US Senator from Massachusetts, Republican

5) Jeb Bush, Former Governor of Florida, Republican

6) Chris Christie Current Governor of New Jersey, Republican

7) Charlie Crist, Current Governor of Florida, Independent

8) Mitch Daniels Current Governor of Indiana Republican

10) Newt Gingrich Former Speaker of the House Republican

11) Lindsey Graham Current US Senator South Carolina Republican

12) Mike Huckabee Former Governor of Arkansas Republican

13) Bobby Jindal Current Governor of Louisiana Republican

14) Gary Johnson Former Governor of New Mexico Republican

15) Fred Karger Current Political Consultant & Gay Rights Activist Republican

16) Tom Knapp Libertarian

17) Bob McDonnell Current Governor of Virginia Republican

18) Sarah Palin Former Governor of Alaska Republican

19) Ron Paul Current US Representative from the State of Texas Republican

20) Tim Pawlenty Current Governor of Minnesota Republican

21) Mike Pence Current US Representative from Indiana Republican

22) David Petraeus Current US Army General Republican

23) Mitt Romney Former Governor of Massachusetts Republican

24) Wayne Allyn Root Current Entrepreneur, author and political commentator Libertarian

25) Marco Rubio Current US Senator elect from Florida Republican

26) Becky Rusher Current Computer Technician Independent

27) Rick Santorum Former US Senator from Pennslvania Republican

28) John Thune Current US Senator from South Dakota Republican

29) Donald Trump Current Business Magnate Republican

Let me know to add to the list as you verify someone has become a potential candidate, or to delete from the list if you verify the person drops out of the potential list

Keep in mind, you should research the possible candidates, if you choose to vote Republican, Independent or Libertarian in the next election.

American Voters face a huge obligation to their Country in this next election. If they are not registered to vote, they need too. If they don't have information about their local political parties, they need to get it. The political situation isn't really confusing, it's the political parties that make it seem confusing and sometimes the news media.
