Apparently, the nurse didn't remember to teach the mother how to feel with her fingertips to make sure the baby's nose had an open space...I'm not blind (obviously) yet the nurse that taught me made sure I knew to check with my fingers in case I breastfed at night and didn't want to turn on the light.
